Salut tout le monde!
French Talk yesterday went well, apart from a minor mishap with the study booth number. We broke down two texts: Stomae’s song Papaoutai (+ lyrics) and a tv5monde article on le premier homme dans l’espace (just search for the preceding french and for tv5monde to find it).
Everyone took turns at reading the text en français and then repeating the meaning in English. Apart from one person who left early, everyone really enjoyed the activity. Thank you to the Ivanhoe Library French Group for inspiration!
We’ll hold another French Talk the same time next week (Thursday 1pm-2pm, Group Study Room 1-14) as well as on Monday 1pm-2pm, (TLC-107) and Tuesday 1pm-2pm (TLC-204).
