What?
Year after year, this festival brings dozens of French films to many thousands of Australians. Films showing this year include: Astérix, le secret de la potion magique (French Comedy, celebrates the 60th anniversary of the series with a grand adventure), La chute de l'empire américan (Canadian Comedy, winner of the FIPRESCI Prize for Best Film, Valladolid International Film Festival 2018 ), and En liberté (French Drama, winner of the SACD prize at the Cannes Film Festival 2018 where it was a big hit).

When?
For Melbourne, screening are from the 6th of March to the 10th of April.
Where?
Palace Cinema Como, Palace Balawyn, Palace Westgarth, Palace Brighton Bay, Kino Cinema and the Astor Theatre are showing films.
The closest location to La Trobe University is Palace Westgarth (89 High Street, Northcote) - easily reachable by the 86 tram.
The Kino Cinema (45 Collins Street, Melbourne) is another option for those not near the 86 tram line but still close to a train line.
How Much?
Concession tickets are available from $16 for students under 25 years old (general admission is $26 but certain screenings cost more.)
